The printing equipment shall be cleaned regularly during the production process. Gasoline was first used to clean printing ink, but the cleaning effect was not satisfactory, and it had a great impact on people and the environment, and was on the verge of being eliminated. In recent years, ink cleaning agents with simple composition and excellent cleaning effect have appeared, mainly composed of organic solvents and surfactants that can generate relatively stable water in oil emulsions.

Ink cleaner is mainly composed of hydrocarbon, emulsifier and anti-corrosion agent. High quality ink cleaners are generally composed of organic solvents with different boiling points, rubber antioxidants and surfactants that can form stable water in oil emulsions.

In the process of cleaning ink, high-quality ink cleaner and water are used based on the emulsification principle. When the cleaner and emulsified ink contact, the organic solvent will dissolve the binder and organic resin in the ink. The water will wash the hydrophilic material, paper powder and paper wool, and dissolve and remove the inorganic and colloidal compounds of the residual wetting liquid in the emulsion ink. Therefore, the surface of the ink roller and blanket after washing is clean and free of pigment traces.

Ink cleaners also have a great impact on printing, such as the rubber roller with water or low ink performance, rubber roller deformation, insufficient field density, flat screen blooming, etc. most of them are caused by improper use of cleaners, which affects the printing quality.

With the improvement and upgrading of technology, people have developed a variety of new printing ink cleaning agents. Among them, mixed solvent type, oil in water emulsion type and semi water-based cleaning agents not only keep the strong cleaning ability of the original solvent to the ink, but also do not damage the printing plate film. To a great extent, they also overcome the disadvantages of flammability and explosion. The water-based cleaning agent is completely incombustible, but the cleaning effect of some inks is not ideal, so it should be selected according to actual needs in use.

Although compared with gasoline and kerosene, ink cleaning agents are safe and have less pollution, it does not mean that & ldquo; Ink cleaner & rdquo; It is perfect. Although the flash point of most qualified ink cleaners is above 40 degrees, they are still flammable. If the operation is improper, there is still the possibility of explosion. Moreover, the ink cleaners are dissolved in & ldquo; Ink cleaner & rdquo; The harm of ink and other substances to human body and the surrounding environment can not be ignored.
